What is the Hornet's Nest Republican Men's Club?

We are excited to announce the formation of the Hornet’s Nest Republican Men’s Club (HNRMC). HNRMC is organized under the North Carolina Federation of Republican Men an affiliate organization of the NCGOP. “I am thrilled!” says Bob Pruett, President of the North Carolina Federation of Republican Men. “As we continue to build out our network of clubs across the state, it is fantastic to see a club come together regionally to support the Republican cause.”


It is open to all Republican men in the Southern Piedmont region of North Carolina. “Our Mission is simple” says Dan Barry its new President, we aim to recruit, develop, support and elect conservative Republicans to Public Office.” The 2020 Election Cycle is incredibly important, and we plan to work tirelessly alongside the North Carolina Republican Party and its affiliates from across the region including MeckGOP and UnionGOP to push our candidates on to victory.


The inaugural leadership group is made of GOP leaders from across the region. In addition to Dan Barry are former County Commissioner Matthew Ridenhour, Board of Education Member Sean Strain, Activists Kevin Abplanalp, John Powell, Ken May, David Willis, Mike Hicks, Bob Wilberger, Stewart Taylor and Steve Huff.

Hornet's Nets Republican Men's Club's Recognized

The Hornet’s Nest Republican Men’s Club “HNRMC” officially received its credentials on December 14, 2019. Our official status increased the size of the state federation by 25% and we are the largest club in the state. Way to go team! HNRMC President Daniel Barry with NCFRM President Bob Pruett.

The objectives of the NCFRM is to further the principles of the North Carolina Republican Party and to promote Republican candidates in all elections.


NCFRM Mission

The Mission of this Federation shall be: We, the North Carolina Federation of Republican Men, shall work to promote our conservative values by working together to create fellowship among Republican men, supporting the principles, objectives, and platform of the Republican Party, fostering strong relationships with the community through demonstrations of citizenship and positive minded practices, educating our members on how they can participate in the electoral process, supporting our constituent clubs and always working to elect Republicans across this great state while understanding nothing can be accomplished without God’s help and guidance.

NCFRM Goals

The NCFRM is striving to be an authoritative voice within the NCGOP.
The NCFRM aims to be a group that conservative candidates look to for endorsements in order to help secure them a win.
The NCFRM wants to have enough presence that the general assembly will listen to what the NCFRM say and want to remain in the NCFRM good graces.
The NCFRM wants our representatives in Washington to seek out NCFRM’s support and opinions on the matters important to all North Carolina residents.

All Club memberships will have a common anniversary date of September 30th.


Annual membership renewal dues of $50 (Member) $30 (Associate Member) will be billed in September and are payable by October 1st.
